Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area for a Retail Strategy & Account Manager.
This position is responsible for owning how IV-X lives at retail, from shelf strategy and planogram development to pricing logic, placement optimization, and account execution. The Retail Strategy & Account Manager will collaborate closely with the Distribution Manager and Field Activation Manager to ensure IV-X doesn’t just sell into accounts, but drives sustained sell-through and long-term account growth.
Responsibilities include leading retail business planning, managing key accounts, advising on promotional and slotting considerations, and executing retail strategies that strengthen IV-X’s in-store presence across channels.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Retail Account Management, Retail Strategy, or Consumer Goods
- Strong understanding of business planning, margin structure, and retail economics
- Experience working with distributors or DSD networks is a strong plus
- Knowledge of shelf merchandising, planogram development, and promotional strategy
- Ability to analyze sell-through data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with buyers and store managers
- Comfort navigating slotting fees, promotional asks, and retail negotiations
- Organized, analytical, and execution-focused mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, on-site team environment
- Willingness to travel regionally to support key accounts
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
