IV-X™ is building a performance fuel system for athletes who demand more from how they train, compete, and recover. As we scale into retail, we’re hiring a Retail Strategy & Account Manager to own how IV-X lives on the shelf — how it’s presented, positioned, stocked, and defended.
This role is about retail intelligence, execution standards, and long-term account success.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for shaping IV-X’s retail presence from the inside out. That includes shelf strategy, planograms, pricing logic, slotting considerations, and account-level execution. You’ll work directly with our Distribution Manager and Field Activation Manager to ensure IV-X doesn’t just sell in, it sells out.
This is not a sampling or event role. This is about winning the shelf.

What You’ll Do
• Own retail shelf strategy, layout, and presentation across accounts
• Develop planograms and shelf standards by channel (convenience, specialty, grocery, fitness)
• Advise on and evaluate slotting fees, promotional costs, and retail demands
• Support retail pricing strategy, margin structure, and promo cadence
• Help manage and grow retail accounts in coordination with distribution partners
• Work with buyers and store managers to optimize placement and replenishment
• Identify what retailers want vs. what consumers respond to — and bridge the gap
• Partner with Field Activation Manager to support in-store velocity when needed
• Ensure consistent execution across regions and store types
• Monitor sell-through, inventory levels, and shelf compliance
• Provide feedback on packaging, format, and merchandising opportunities
• Help define what differentiates IV-X on shelf vs. competitors

Experience & Skills
• Retail account management or retail strategy experience (required)
• Experience working with distributors or DSD networks (strong plus)
• Understanding of shelf layout, merchandising, and planogram design
• Knowledge of slotting fees, promotional spend, and retail economics
• Ability to analyze sell-through and make data-driven recommendations
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Willingness to travel as needed to support accounts
